As one of the ISO standard paper sizes, A6 sizes fully comply with the principle of paper length ratio of √2:1. Under this rule, each piece of paper cut or folded at the center line of the long side produces a piece of paper of exactly the same size as its aspect ratio, and is named the next on the size number. For example, A6 size is cut from the A5 size, then the A6 size can be cut to produce the A7 size. The entire ISO A series paper size is produced based on this. The A0 is the largest size in the series and is exactly equal to 1 square meter. Then there are A1A2A3A4A5A6A7, and the minimum sizes to A8, A9, A10, etc..
